What do you do when your heart is in complete ruins for what someone else is going through? I’ve been asking myself this question for the past few weeks. Someone I consider very dear to me is facing a huge trial in their life and it’s breaking my heart. I’ve cried over it. I’ve prayed about it. I don’t know what to feel. My head’s spinning. My heart’s stirring. I don’t know what is real.

But I look to Christ.

I pray. I cry out all my fears and concerns for this person. I pour it all out to Him because He is always listening. Will I be able to concentrate everyday? Heavens no. But I’ll keep praying that all will go well; that the right thing will be done. And I pray that they will be safe.

I know things will always be changing because God is always working. And it will take time but I know I will eventually see that the right things are happening because it doesn’t always come to you right then and there that God knows what He’s doing.

And if there’s anything you can take away from this, it’s that “If it’s not good, God’s not done.”
